Shot all these in between two storms. The wet leaves and soft light made the colors very vibrant and saturated :P

And yes i did get wet.. very wet, i found out that i left my poncho in the car once it started pouring -_-. Lucky my Thinktank backpack protected everything else. My camera did get wet, i'm surprised how well the 50D and sigma 30/1.4 EX handled it.

A little too much water at the falls.. but meh.. it was after a storm :[

wow amazing shots i think, whenever i see pictures like this i always get confused though. it makes me wonder if the picture is real or not , mainly the water? how did you get it too look like that?! ? is it with editing or it actually looks like that from the camera?

Heres EXIF for first shot, can you tell why the water is so silky smooth from the data?

It's the wind from the multi-second exposures. :[

no i cannot, but judging from what kratos said its the exposure time that effects the waters look? so is it the higher the number the more...silky or w/e it will look? and the lower the time the more it will look like the real water what you see?

i thought it was the metering mode : matrix xD sounds cool

e : what other editing did you do to the photo? it looks like it has an orangey overall look too it ?

I know, leafs in long exposure is hard :( . Can't really get it perfect though. Unless you do a close up of a rock with just the colour out of focus in the background which would still look great with the fall colours.

:O Why didn't i think of that. That would've been so epic :cry:

@EverNineAfter- I just up'd the white balance temperature to match what i see yesterday. The lights shining thru the orange/ yellow leaves gave the scene a very warm feeling.

Yeah.. maybe the second pic is a little too warm.
