Since I am not happy with my nikon d3000, especially noise levels (which isn't my only reason to upgrade), I have since a time back decided to upgrade.
I was choosing between a used nikon d300(s) or a nikon d90 to begin with, but then they announced the d7000...

This camera is affordable for me, I thought that the d90 + a used nikkor 17-55 2.8 would be a better buy but I can actually live with the 18-55 for a while more..
I will pre-order it this week, I'm really looking forward to it and I just couldn't resist sharing

I have a D700 to my disposal at any time. It's a sexy cam.

yeah the D3000 is crap, the D5000 is not much better imo
also the D300 is no better than the D90, I would definitely stick to the D90 or go all out and get the D700

Or just get a 7D ^^
