#1 is composed bad. bump up the colors.
#2 is cool
#3 #4 and #5 = textbook composition, which is boring.

Number 3 and 5, I would prefer a more horizontal view, try to stay parallel to the ground, imo gives better perspective.

how could I have composed 1 better?

and what "rule am I following on number 4? I see 3 and 5 but I don't see 4. Thank you for the honesty and criticism! ^_^ It's what I like to hear <3

I'm not sure what you mean by the more horizontal on 3 seeing it's already horizontal... as for perspective, if I had done that on 3 I would've lost the shape of the lily but I'll definitely go back and try it again to see if I like that view. as for number 5 it's already been called boring because of the "textbook composition" and seeing as a more parallel view would make it lose that s-curve feel to it I don't understand how that would help but once again I'll go back and try again on that one thanks! ^_^

I appreciate the honest comments guys!

On number 3 I suggest to take the same picture directly from above, or to go with a totally different perspective, like this I feel like all flat. Maybe try to open the aperture to isolate the flower from the background if you don't want to change point of view.

Sorry for my English, I so my best :D

I really like number two. It's composed well. The others don't do much for me :)

The only one I really like, is number one.
Didn't check out number two which everyone says is great, because I saw a spider and immediately scrolled down. I can't look at them lol.
The last ones simply aren't very interesting, you know? I mean they were taken pretty well, but they wouldn't catch my eye.
