I was wondering if you could help me decide, I'm looking to spend about 800-1000 dollars. The one I'm looking at right now is a Canon EOS Rebel T2i for about 930$. Any tips?

What type of photography?

I like landscapes and I would like to do weddings and such if I need to.

I would recommend a used 5D over a t2i but glass is more important.. do you have a budget for lens?

You can do a whole wedding with a 24-70 or a 50 mm lens. Get the best possible lens and get at least a 50D in order to do basic, well-lit weddings. You'll need a lot more equipment than just a camera and a lens. Look at profile for a basic set of equipment. LMK of any more questions.

But his budget is $1k.. your list is more like $10k LOL.

I would say a used 40d or 50d and a tampon 17-50/2.8 non vc for an excellent starter setup.
