I'm just wondering, is there a way to make that flash slave to either a Canon camera or any other camera flash? The only way I can figure out how to slave it is to other Canon flashes with the same channel functions.

I think only the 7d. You can buy an optical flash adapter so other flashes will trigger it.

If you are looking to do that, look into newer Nikon flashes, since they have the optical slave built in

You van trigger it with a 7D or a 60D wirelessly. You can also do it wired with a pc cable. I trigger mine with yongnuo wireless triggers, extremely reliable

Alright, thanks. I have a T2i, I just needed to slave it with the flash or do it wirelessly. Too bad I couldn't afford the T2i's big brother..

i got that flash but i never used is as a slave, but if i remember right there is a slave mode that you can put on from some of the buttons on the back

Yeah there is a slave mode, but you need to use another Canon flash or a better camera like the 7D.
