Flickr is fine by itself, it's just when you try to resize images with the uploader. O.o

Eh, I dont like its other features either. The only time I use it is when theres a contest here.

Its not very user friendly imo. Plus you get so much more feedback on dA.

We shall see. I have it submitted to both Flickr and dA, I don't like dA's group system though. It's much more difficult and time consuming to contribute art and join the groups in the first place.

I guess its just a matter of personal taste. Im in 46 groups, and they were pretty easy to join :o

I honestly do not see that much of a difference between the two photos there. O_o I opened them up in two separate tabs and flipped back and forth and didn't notice much... I really had to look for the difference.

Very true... you do at least get a lot more feed back with DA.

I guess we all just see things differently, look around the word "Panthers" on his jersey. It's really obvious there.

I've been trying to join a few groups, but most of them take a few days for me to be approved. With Flickr I can just click "Join" and half of the time I'm in, the other half it takes until the next morning or so. And then submitting my work is as easy and looking through the list of groups I'm in and checking them off. With dA I have to go to each individual group page and submitting the work unless I manage to get into the contributors and then it's as easy as Flickr.

never use any website for resizing, it will always degrade the iq because the algorithms for resize are poor compared to photoshop, irfanview etc
