Shot with ceilling bounced flash at iso 6400, shutter speed 125, F2.8 (picture is compressed at 8% quality in lightroom :D)


Dancing subject + 100 dancers on a relatively small area + 95% dark + people bumping into me + trying to frame + forgot case where I had primes at home (not that they would've helped) = venue of hell.

Showed this picture because this is the last picture I took before I left (and hence last in lightroom so it caught my attention) and I love the face she's making.

Mostly, yes. Remember that noise isn't all that bad unless you're trying to fulfill an advertisement job. I hardly believe this will make it past 5x7.
To give you guys an idea of how dark it was: a club concert is a lot brighter than this place.

I love that portrait, amazing expression you caught.

And I see what you mean about noise, I like it sometimes too, and I know some professional photographers add it to their pictures on purpose.

I did not crop this picture. at 95% dark, you can't even see your subject being framed. Consider every shot luck. I wish I would have gotten her hands
