I have seen on Flickr some pictures with some reallllly nice artistic backgrounds..
Unfortunately I'm at home and cannot search for an exemple.. (dial-up)
I am hoping someone has an idea of what I'm talking about and can post an exemple and tell me how to do that....
Sorry for being so vague...
Thanks in advance!!!

The ones I saw were completely abstract, not like a studio, more like a painting but really abstract...
I wish I had saved an exemple when I saw one couple months ago :(

Hmm sure they weren't shopped in? I know people who shop backgrounds over at Model Mayhem for us less than techno-geek photographers.

I remember one in particular, in the description, the person was saying thank you to this person for the nice background...
I wish I had kept it as fave... :(

Been too long... :(
Would you know a way to do something with the background of a picture?
let's say my pic with the 2 horses nose to nose, the background is ugly but the horses are really nice...

Shoot at a shallower depth of field. Get more bokeh and the background will just kind of blur together...

Sure... but when the picture is already taken.....
The horse on the left has been in the hospital for one week now and re-shooting is not possible...

check out OnOnes Focal Point plugin .... and skip it if you don't have PS or Adobe Elements ... Focalpoint adds or enhances bokeh to an already taken image. It's pretty nice.

I think you can d/l and use a free 30day trial ... of course you DO need to have PS or Elements.

Other than that ... a PS wizard is what I'd use. I am surely not that person.
