Get a 40D or 50D. Better value.

Find an other store or online?

But choose on of those and then buy a better lens.

are you sure? metering seems to be upgraded quite alot on 60d from 50d(63 vs 35 zones). it has a native iso of 6400, while 50d 6400 iso is just 3200 pushed 1 stop, in theory it should give better handling on noise(but i dont know if it does in reality) and it also means that you can choose iso between 3200-6400 in 1/3rd stop increasements, personally i think this is a really good thing and i hate it that i cant use 5000iso on my camera for example. also if it matters, 50d cant shoot video, but 60d can. personally i like the joystick on 50d, but i think that new thing for changing focus point might work alright. other thing in 50d that is better is that it has a magnesium alloy body and 60d is polycarbonate resin with glass fibre on aluminum chassis, this doesent make big of a difference tho

I think 60D is a 550D with small improvements and it is way too expensive.
The 60D is the same price as the 7D right?

Couldn't agree more ^_^

I've read about it, my choice would rather be between 50d/550d or even a 7d if I'd be mr. big spender
