It had just lightly showered here and a friend and I went shooting at Auditorium Shores and here we go:









and this last one is just because I like the way my city looks at night but it's not great. Alas, my camera and low light settings don't mix very well even with a tripod =)

What lens were you shooting with? Seems to have pretty bad distortion on the last two shots.

Notice how the buildings are slanting into the middle of the photo? Really bad in the second to last shot . It is lens distortion. I'd imagine you were shooting at the widest focal range possible with your kit lens yes? Most all kit lenses have distortion when they shoot that wide.

I see... I still like them though because they look dramatic =) and yes I shot at 18mm with a 1.5 multiplier

Back to scuba, I was under the impression that with a wide angle there is a little distortion anyway because the lens has to bend light to get more than your peripheral vision in your photo. Am I right or totally misinformed?

1 and 2 look gud

the last two are quite great. too bad they´re not perfectly sharp and abit distorted. without that, and with some better quality, they´d definately make a great print.
