Well, I am not sure I 100% like this photo, just because the water made it a bit blurry because it wasn't completely still. There's something off about it I don't know. What do you think? I'd like to hear the good and the things I can do better. Thanks!

Hmm I really don't like the colour of the artificial light :/

The composition is too broad, there really isn't any main subject matter. Maybe if you got closer and made it more of an industrial landscape it could work. Go on dusk or dawn!

Ahh, there we go, someone put it into words for me! I knew there was something off about the composition. Seems my photos keep getting worse O_o

Well, the artificial lights isn't the greatest, but I still for some reason kind of like it :)

Mmmmh yes maybe it's a bit plain, but I can't help thinking that your first mistake is a non horizontal picture :D

That's what I noticed first :p

Get in closer to all that stuff going on in the back ground?

Is it a shipping yard of some sort?

Include the bridge as part of your subject. Lake = boring. If you want to do some awesome reflections, have a 50/50 reflection / subject ratio to make it look like a mirror. Marie did something like that a while back, which inspired me for some epic rain photography.

Nothing really stands out, there isn't really a subject here. For a sepia or black and white photo you need a very striking photo with relatively high contrast and this one doesn't really have either of those.
