I will be going back to the Philippines mid November through early December! During that time I will be traveling with my family to Thailand to cheer on my dad as he participates in Ironman Phuket. So stoked for this trip! Last time I went it was dry season, so everything will be lush and green this time around. This time I won't hold back with taking photos! I feel like last time I restrained myself from taking many photos.

/Excitement.

Here. Have a photo. Its from my last trip.

Hey cool you are going to Thailand! A co-worker of mine just got back from there; she brought back some funky candies that were sweet, salty, sour and spicy... :O

I really like the photo.. the perspective is great.

Thank you Chan. I am not sure what to expect from Thailand, I'm sure it will be an awesome experience.

It wasn't a matter of digital or film that held me back Marie. When I was there I wasn't totally comfortable taking photos of the people or what they live like day to day. I thought it may offend them or something... I dunno, I just had a problem with it. Plus at times I was too busy taking it all in rather than pushing the shutter, it was quite a culture shock. Now that I know what to expect things will be different. Sadly, if I had any room in my luggage, my parents will be taking up that space. Because they live in the Philippines and can't get certain things, I am sure I will take at least two large suitcases full of stuff that they need.

Thailand's awesome, I was in Bangkok and Ko Samui last year, as you say, major culture shock, but a beautiful place.

If you don't mind me asking... Assuming you took camera equipment, what did you pack around with you?
