I've been training with my olympus for over a year now and i was planning on getting a nikon.
First of all my budget is 2000 €.

I was quite unsure between two choices:

D90 + the classic 18-105/18-200 vr II ( aka i got the chance to spend the other 1k €[and still save something] on lenses such as a 50mm/1.4+kenko teleplus or a 18-200[if i choose the 18-105 pack])

or

D300S + AF-S 16-85 VR (would be exactly 2k, and i should have to wait a bit[christmas probably] before getting new lenses)



What would you do?
I'd take the D300s, but i'd prefer some opinions really.

Have you try the bodies at a local shop to make sure it's what you like? The ergonomics and button placement etc?

I've obviously shot with both bodies and found myself comfortable with both.

What do you shoot?

E-420, Olympus.
Had several tries on friends' nikons and loved them.

No no, i meant "what" do you shoot. What are your subjects?

Mostly all, i don't have a favourite subject i just look around myself and "see" the picture.
I like a lot to shoot in the city, modern buildings and so on.
I'd like to get more into macrophotography, but i never bought new lenses for my camera since i knew i was going to change it someday.

Dei video non mi interessa particolarmente.. poi i video che fanno la d90 e la d300s sono anni luce indietro alle concorrenti canon..
Una d700 usata quanto dici che può costare?
