I know many of you are not fans of photos with a filter on them. So you don't have to tell me that in your opinion it looks over-processed, I know. I like the photo, my client likes the photo, etc.

Here is the photo:

And before I get hassled for the original here it is:

I love playing around with textures

Before anyone comments on her looking a bit sleepy or something of the sort, that's just her look, that's how her eyes look with a blank expression.

I think you will have to pay more attention to composition (Offcenter). :)

Generally I am very good with composition. I don't like the subjects centered really. But I think these still look nice!

I actually got my photoshoot basically cut in half.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I was using a Canon Rebel and suddenly I got a card error 002, it said to replace sd card.
I get home and I can't even access the photos I took! Somehow I was able to retrieve them but I can no longer get back into the memory card or use it in the camera.
Sigh. -_-

From what I have seen the rule of thirds isn't really that important in portrait photography as it is when shooting landscapes.
Here is tutorial that I find quite interesting:

The edited versions look great though I am not a fan or this "Russian farm girl" outfit/look :p

Have you tried with another card?
and what kind of SD card are you using?
I always try to avoid those cheap unknown brand name cards and stick to Sandisk Extreme cards because they are fast and extremely reliable.

If you don't want criticism, why post your work on a discussion forum? I've done some real obscure things to appease clients but it doesn't mean they are the be all and end all of photographic aesthetics.

I don't mind the first shot but the exposure is way too hot and her hands are cut off.

Sleepy eyes isn't bad, I think the crop could be tighter. You seem to have a lot of dust on your sensor.

Good post editing. Unfortunately, in my city there isn't much of a market for this sort of post editing.
