Ordered the55-250mm canon is lens and a sunpak 58mm circular polarizer.

I use the canon eos rebel xs with the 18-55 kit lens currently.

I'm excited.

Not everyone can afford fast L lenses. The 55-250 is a very respectable lens in it's own rights.
