Bought a D90 for my wife and she is loving it.
Just one thing though... Supposedly, you are able to shoot HD video with it but I can't figure it out.

Anyone got anything on this?

The manual is like 200 pages long and only mentions video on 2 pages of it. There is no instruction
And where it does mention video, it's nothing to do with recording video footage. Only talks about showing pics/clips through TV (video mode)

You bought a Nikon D90? Excellent choice. I have the same camera.
So heres what you do if you want to shoot in HD.

1. Turn on your camera.
2. On the right side of the small LCD screen, you'll see a button called Lv. It'll be enclosed by a box. Hit that button.
3. You should now be able to see a video on your LCD screen. It's not recording just yet though. So hit the OK button which is just under that Lv one.
4. You are now recording. You can adjust the focus and any other setting anyway you like. You'll have to read the manual for that one because I can't remember all the function from the top of my head.
5. When you're finished recording, hit the OK button again, press Lv to get out of the video mode, and then press the play button on the left side of the LCD screen to view the video.

Hope this helped.

Edit: Make sure you're in 720p though. Thats in your camera options.
