ok so i've got two photo shoots in White Sands, NM. The first is a random photo request where four girls want to take pictures. The second is an engagement shoot.

I can do the engagement shoot. I've got enough ideas for them.

My problem is the random photo request. The girls are one good looking, two average looking,, and one not too good looking based on facial characteristics (imo, at least).
All four girls are thin, approximately 5'4-5'6 in size.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to pose them. It's all sandy dune desert to work with. I'm thinking some sweaty-model shots, lots of BW with raised blacks, and a sense of 'desolation' within these. I can also play with wireless flash shots as soon as the desert sunset hits. Maybe take fun pictures of shadows or make fun sillhouetes.

Any other ideas? help I would appreciate it.

I have a few ideas, but I have no clue what the desert in that area looks like..

Idea #1
Have the girls wear beach clothes and bring towels and have them pose in a way that all 4 are differently looking for the water (''Where's the beach???'')

Idea #2
Have them make a parchemin type Pirate's Map, bring a shovel, and pose as they are looking for that treasure.... one with the shovel, one holding the map and the other 2 kinda arguing over the exact spot...

Idea #3
One of the girls is writing ''Help'' (or anything related) in the sand, others are sharing the only water left...

I have to get going now with the kids, but I'll think about your project and will post again more ideas (if I get more )
