Sigma 10-20mm F/3.5

So my Sigma 10-20mm came in the mail today which I ordered online from Sigma for $950.00
It's pretty awesome, the clarity is amazing, the HSM is fast, and @ 10mm, it is WIDE!!
Awesome lens for an awesome price (compared to the Canon 10-22mm F/3.5 for $985.99)
Looking forward to shooting NYC with it in August.

Here's a few test shots, nothing really special, shot @ ISO1600 so pretty noisy, but just showing how wide this is :)

I don't regret anything. I know I could have gotten wider with a Fish-eye, but I don't want a fish-eye. (Plus, I could get one anytime)

I was going to say. You overpaid for it. The f/3.5 doesn't improve much over the f/4-5.6 but slightly better corner sharpness. The 10-22 canon is still superior for the same price. If you can afford to work with a small focal length. The tokina 11-16 f/2.8 is better in almost all areas like color rendition, sharpness, flare control, speed, etc.

Not to mention the new sigma 8-16 f/4-5.6 is going to be released soon. Rumor has it that it's a very solid lens.

I felt like i just hurt your feelings :( But i did a crap load of research on UWA for croppers before i pull the trigger on my toki. : /

I've never bought from them and not about to start with them on an expensive lens, I'd rather try and cheaper one first.
And I don't have time to wait for the 8-16 to come out lol!!

+ This Sigma looks pretty damn sexy with that hood.

EXACTLY what I was going to say about the price... I paid under 600 for this lens, well with the higher F number. But wow a 300 dollar difference just for an f-stop? Possibly there's other differences between the two, as well.

Aren't pretty much if not all FE lenses fixed focal length too? Having that adjustable focal range is so nice on lenses like this imo. Does this lens have much distortion at 10mm?

Barely any distortion, as seen in my sample shots.
I've been running this thing non stop since I got it and it's crazy!
