#1 is probally mostly intresting for myself since by looking at it I get the smell/sound/feeling again plus I was just over a day there and compared to the city area of holland it's a bit different.
#2 imo that tree does wonders for composition besides that I guess a sunset on a lake with an island and some trees can't be that special.
#3 from a driving bus with a cheap ass digi. cam, I was pretty happy to see how it turned out.

I should make pictures of my trips more often, it's that a mate told me to use his camera and bring back some pics since I normally never bother. I'll see what more I can shoot and what settings I can screw around with.

The second one is pretty nice but when you think about it, the scene itself is the good part, the picture really isnt that great I think. I definately think you should have left out the one unnatural light on the left, which takes away a lot from the .. peace of the scene if you know what I mean. I would probably have tried a little more something of a close up here or at least a little.

Tip!

When shooting landscapes on low light, take a small tripod with you or try to get some support on a flat surface of no matter what object you find that was already there.

For landscapes like the first one, in which the sky is very bright, you should really check out graduated neutral density filters (GND). They work very well.

In the third picture I like the way the sun is partially hidden behind the sign and the way it causes a flare but usually it's pretty much of a waste of time to try to make something special out of a scene that isn't very exciting.

The very last is my favourite! Well done with the shadows.

I hope this was of any help, good luck ;)
