Finally bought my own dslr, I went for the canon 500d ( / Rebel T1i / Kiss X3 ) with standard 18-55 IS lens (kit) :)

made a lot of pics already in a few days and need to sort anything out.

I'll post this pic already:


I can use my dad's old lens (38-76) so I can put them behind eachother for macro

I'm more online here from now on :)

Word of advice on this kinda macro ... unless you are specifically illustrating a specific spot ... it's best to bump up aperture a little to allow a little more focus, otherwise it's just kinda abstract.

yes it does seem to be out of focus.

increase the /f stop so at least the ant is more clear. :P

Yea I know I need a larger dof but that's not something caused by a small f stop but due to the fact I used 2 lenses behind eachother
