Last time i went shooting at the Zoo, it was my first time out with the DSLR. I've felt that i've improved slightly from the criticism from you guys and other forums. Went to the Zoo again and took some more pictures.

First time i went, i was trigger happy. I took about 1600 shots that day. But today, i try to frame my shot and do everything right from the get go, the metering modes, WB, the whole nine yards. Only took 160. What a difference eh?

I love #4 - I just love how you got lower to the same level as him. It makes the shot great that way. Composition is great, I like it! And the look on his face is so funny!!! I also like the first one in the same way. I think these are great! And thank you for resizing your pictures!

Thanks!! Getting down on one knee does improve images. I tried to use the wood beams to frame the image.



LOL, it's a half facepalm, the fingers isn't fully extended.



I didn't do much "candids" yesterday. But that moment definitely captured my eyes. Had to take a snap shot even with a long telephoto.

The keeper rates were alot higher this time around too. First time i was out, i shot 1600 images and only 140~ was worth keeping. This time, i shot 160 and i kept 55

(6) b/w wouldnt be my first choice you loose too much details you nearly miss the ape in the foreground.. he looks like the stone right from him :/
