Using iso 1600. Would have titled it using iso 1600 but for some odd reason it was an invalid topic title. Kind of frustrating.

Another attempt at some baby photos. Using a higher ISO just to see. It is pretty noisy, but I don't think it looks that bad... I don't notice it, my eyes are drawn to the baby instead. What do you think?

1. My personal favourite. I love his smile!

I was pretty sure you were allowed iso in your topic title, Oh well. Could have even been what I put in as the topic description.

I do not think the high ISO is killing the photos. I think it is quite good for your ( Old ) camera. :)

And what a cute little guy. 1st photo is melting your heart. :D

Haha - glad to hear that! I don't normally use that high of ISO. Thank you! :)

Nice pics and thanks for posting them. Goes to show properly exposed 1600 likes just fine.

FYI you could put ASA 1600 ... lol

Thanks! :) I will thank you for reminding me iso 1600 isn't so bad after all!

Haha, ASA 1600 reminds me of a low-dose aspirin you can take, it's called baby aspirin.... and ASA is what it is  Can't remember the full name of it though ><

I don't usually go above 400, unless I'm in really low light conditions or I need very fast shutter speeds.
Of course there is some grain, but you'd get MUCH worse on a classic camera with a 1600 ISO film :D
Digital cameras make a much better work, and your pictures are nice!

Yeah, I don't mind using this high ISO in low light either, like these pictures were in, sort of

Grain is sometimes nice though, I think I like it sometimes! I will definitely use this for when I want a little grain.

Thanks Alan!
