This monday i will be going to the local race track to try and get some good photos of the race horses and i was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what setting i should use.
The races start at 1:20 so its going to be sunny out.

Depends on what you are gonna portray. So say movement for instance... Slower shutter speed, pan with the subject throughout the capture. That will get you with a sharp subject and a blurred background. Or if you want everything to be still, fast shutter speeds.

OR- you could get a finishlynx and shoot at 1500fps on the finish line :P This is actually how I make all my money...
