First to the OP: I love the first two shots. The lighting is spectacular and moody. Only thing I'd personally change is to straighten em up a little in post so the ground looks less crooked.

Next to the guy I quoted: Do you ask a carpenter what brand of framing hammer he used to build a house? Try it and see if you get weird looks. Ask the framing guy what brand his hammer is when his house is all done. He'll laugh.

If you had the chance, would you gawk over Jimi Hendrix's Strat or perhaps his technique? "Hey Jimi what kinda guitar is that?" ... Did it ever really matter WHAT guitar he touched? The sounds were all magical.

Not trying to be rude ... but the Canon Rebel XSI is as capable as the hands of the photographer. You could have a better camera or a crappier one and produce the same result or better, IF you KNOW HOW.

Ok, back to the post.

#1 and #2 have a very nice atmosphere.

The falling light from above and then the window/gate at the end of the way,
the dirty ground and old walls at each side of the way.

Looks old and mysterious at the same time.

Now with the d2 reset, it kinda reminds me of some catacombs or so...
I wonder if Andariel is waiting at the end of that gate

are you crazy! to straighten the first 2 up would ruin them. the pictures make you a little uneasy because its such a strange hallway that is perfectly straight but its just crooked enough to make you feel like you're not standing right.

those first 2 photos are insane.Best I've seen in this section by far.the way you can get lost in them and how uncomfortable they make you feel is crazy.props.

Bahaha! You clearly haven't been around this section for very long. This section has had many quality shots, and you are a fool if you think other wise.

Don't get me wrong though, the first two shots are indeed nice. And as said what is nice about them is the lighting and atmosphere.

That's why in my post I say "I'd personally" ... not saying "you should" or even "you should personally" ... again Art as is demonstrated by our difference in view is a very subjective subject.

To the OP: Where were the first two shots taken??
