Some of you may know that I have been planning a trip to the Philippines for some time now. I finally have my plane ticket purchased. I'm getting so excited. I leave on Thursday! Got my camera packed and ready to go! I'm flying from home in Salt Lake City, to Portland, to Tokyo, and then to Manila. Then from Manila I will drive to Baguio City. It will be about 36 hours total travel time, dunno how to feel about that yet. I'm thinking I will be having some major jet lag. Anyway, I won't be coming home until April 3rd. So I will spend quite a bit of time over there. And the last week of March I will go with my family to Pulau something or another, Malaysia. So I don't know how much I will be around the forum for the next while. But I will be sure to post photos when I can.

question: what camera are you taking? Do you have a replacement? Humidity in the Philippines makes some cameras have trouble.

I am taking my D80. Humidity shouldn't be that big of an issue. Parents haven't had an issue with any of their cameras. I'm not too worried about it.
