First of, you'll need to learn how your camera works, when you know that you can get
the picture as sharp as you may need/want. This will take some time to learn but
if you are interested and take a lot of photos you'll pull this one of. During this
time keep in mind to make a nice composition and look at others photos.
I'll go straight down to your shots and try to give you some feedback.
First one: Well, it seems that you think that stone thingy with a wire is interesting,
first of all the thing in the bottom of the frame disturbs just a little, and your
composition isn't that great. Maybe you should have taken a shot kneeling down trying
to get the camera at the same level as the curb?`
Second shot: You have some extreme chromatic abberation (the purple colors in the top
left of the frame), and the composition isn't that great either. This would probably be
improved if you took an active decision to either show the sky to ~1/3rd of the picsize
or not at all.
Third shot: Same here, composition is not that great, pick a subject in the picture and
try to show it. This picture sais "railroad" and nothing more. Try to lower the camera
againd and find something interesting to focus on.
Forth: This one is not sharp at all, learn about aparture, and maybe you'd need to get a
bit closer to get an interesting shot!
