Hey I'm taking a B&W photo class and we're supposed to be taking conceptual pictures using depth of field and/or motion as a motivator.

Anyone have any good ideas for motion shots? Or any suggestions? Thanks!

i dont like long exposure in b/w. ive never done a photography class but isnt motion in b/w usually kist suggested with a fast shutter? for example someone falling off their bike with a very fast shutter, the motion being clear without any trail.

didnt know there was a photography section till sum1 linked in donor forum :O ill come here alot...

Motion is emphasized much more with blurs created from longer shutter speeds. You could do that in two ways. One of them being get the subject to blur, stationary camera + longer shutter on moving subject. Or... You could get the background to blur... Pan with the subject as it moves + longer shutter speed...
