Hey guys. Have not been active for some months now. I only have a 50mm, so I find it quite hard to do something great.

I have been looking around for wideangle lenses but I can not decide which one to choose!
Do you have anything to say about these?

Canon 17 - 40 F4.0L
Canon 16 - 35 F2.8L MK I
Canon 16 - 35 F2.8L MK II

+ other suggestions if you know of a good lens in the area of 10 - 17 minimum focal length.

Thank you. :)

Are you wanting Canon as the brand? I can only suggest the Sigma 10-20mm because it's the only one I've used! It's a lovely lens! But if this helps any: if I could have afforded a much more expensive lens, I would have went with the Canon 10-22mm <3 (it's pricey though!) I've heard a lot of great things about that lens. I didn't realize Canon made other wide angles  I never even bothered to check when buying one!

Are you on a cropper?

Do you shoot indoors with low light?

Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 and sigma 10-20 are both solid choices. tokina for low light ofc.

I want to be able to use lenses both on crop and FF so the sigma is not a good choise. Sorry! :(

Haha. There are a lot of lenses!!

I am on a 1,6. But will buy a FF later.

I have been looking at the Tokina, but I think 11 to 16 is to little and it is only working at 15-16 when used on a FF. But the quality is great! :)

e/And thanks! :)

Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8? Hahaha... That's one sexy lens, but obviously it won't work for you... And honestly I don't know anything about any other wide angle lenses. I don't shoot with wide angle cause I have no idea how to shoot with them. Anyway, best of luck.

They're just like any other lens, except you see the whole world looking through this one

Yeah, unfortunately it's F4, :( but ... you'll most likely be using it for outside anyways, so it's really not THAT necessary for indoor shoots. :)

Yep I've had it for a year now!

I would like to use my wideangle inside without the flash. :)
But maybe I just have to buy the 17 - 40.

Great! Could you post some shots with it ?
