I can't really believe it. But i had to sell my Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L Lens to fund this tripod/ ballhead purchase. :O

It was worth it though, since i actually made a good profit selling the lens :)

Anyway heres my new legs (monopod is old)

The bags for the legs!

Here is my tripod (without the ballhead attached). A Feisol CT-3442 Carbon fiber tripod :), Comparable to a Gitzo 2 series carbon fiber legs. This thing is freaking light as a feather :O.

My ballhead, a photo clam PC-44NS. Comparable to a Markins M10. I brought this over the Markins because alot of owners said the pano head is alot better then the Markins.

Different view.

Lol, trying to be creative

Heres my quick release plate, Arca Swiss compatible :)

Heres the legs with the ballhead attached (legs collapsed)

And here it is, the legs fully extended :)

I also purchased a optional short column in case i need the extra height. I can leave it on there or remove it (takes less then 2 mins to do so).

This shows the short column extended.

This with the short column down with weight attached for more stability.

Closeup of the hook

The legs can be locked in different positions. Instead of normal 65º? lock. This is 45º here

Or if i wanted to go really low for uh.. i dunno flower macro work? This is the legs at roughly 15º -20º ~

Or if the short column is installed and i feel lazy, i can just flip the ballhead to the other end hanging my camera upside down. Getting dangerously close to the ground.

The ballhead itself is very well made, very strong and doesn't have any droop at all! Holds my heaviest setup atm without breaking a sweat. Pictured is a Rebel XSi with a battery grip, canon speedlite 430 EXII, a Canon 1.4x II Extender and a Canon 70-200mm f/4L Lens attached. I can pretty much position it in any awkward position and the tripod won't tip over etc.

With all the legs extended and short column removed. It's perfect for my height ( 5'11" ). If i remove the battery grip, i can use it with the short column comfortably.

There is two ways i can fold up this tripod. The traditional way like this with ballhead sticking out on one side.

Or flip the legs over the spider and make it even more compact. Only 19" :O

Next onto my monopod. a CM-1471 Carbon fiber stick!

Collapsed sitting next to it's cousin. The legs are very thick and i can seriously use this as a weapon

I have a Manfrotto 234RC swivel/ tilt head attached with it's quick release plate.

Extended... it's pretty darn tall. I'm standing next to it for a height reference (again i'm 5'11"), with camera attached, this thing dwarfs me. I feel short :(

Well that's it really, played around with my extension tubes abit since i got the tripod, makes everything easier. Took a photo of a $5 bill for fun

100% crop of the left wing tip.

Pfft, long post. I can see myself using this tripod for many years to come. :)

Meh.. i just now notice how crappy P&S are. I have a fairly high end one.. the photos with my DSLR in it are taken with a P&S. Just look at the ISO grain. zz -_-
