Hey guys,

Did a food shoot last night and just sifting through the stuff now. I pretty much brought along a studio to this gig and it went for just over 5 hours, shooting 24 meals (entrees, mains and desserts) :/

Here are a couple shots I liked that I've briefly gone over in post:

edit: the colours look pretty shit on the web, much more vibrant on my screen >.<

Thanks man

Shooting white on white is a real pain. The first shot has just enough detail in the plate to show the outline behind the food.

I doN,t like so much the first picture, as I would like to see everything in the plate and the part closer is too much out of focus for me to want to eat it :p
But the second picture is realllly good!!!
only thing I would change, is the focus strawberry, that has the shape of a heart, could be turned180 degrees to emphasize the heart shape... perfect Valentine's Day picture

Thanks for the reply :)

I still have hundreds of shots to sift through and just picked two that popped out a little :/

The Valentine's day idea is a pretty awesome and I wish I had of thought of it at the time!

Very nice! But like motheroftwo said, would be sweet if the front the the plate on shot 1 would be focused also.

And is that a triangular plate?

Love the first, great DoF, nice colours, excellent lighting.
Second, like Seabas the angle puts me off, everything else looks perfect though.
