I kind of had a crappy position since it was crowded at this event.
Here's a few of what I got, mostly crashes :P
All except last taken with tamron 90 / 2.8
Last is taken with my kit lens nikon 18-55 VR at 55mm

Very nice shots!

Would love to try snowboarding as well again.
Must be pretty hard to shoot them in action.

The hardest thing was the focusing, the exposure was easy as snow is sooo bright :P
I could get the shutter times I wanted with no trouble.
When it came to focusing though, I had to pre-focus and lock focus depending on which of my lenses was working :P
Because of locked focus one the best captures was all blurry and crappy, sadly.

Thanks for the input :) I'd prefer skiing though, and I wouldnt do any jumping :P

Nice shots, though maybe a little dull.

I'm off to Isola 2000 in March for a weeks skiing, should be fun.

I thought a bit about this and tried doing some changes in the lab color mode in photoshop, here's the result :)
I completely agree with you now when I noticed the difference, thanks a lot :)

Very nice pictures.

But try to keep the the picture level. Almost all the shots.. the camera is tilted to one side.

This makes the trees and the house/ motel look out of place.

But nonetheless, great pictures :)

Ty, but I did this intentionally since that was my only way to get decent shots from the middle of the crowd :P
I think I tilted it enough to make it obvious and nothing to bother so much about :)

I didn't explain myself too well, but I meant dull in terms of what's in the frame. Someone about to land on their face is amusing, but it doesn't make for a very interesting shot.

Aah and finally I see your point :P
Well, I'll take the opportunity to get something better when I see it :)
