Hi,

this will be my "official" hello to the photography section.
I've been stalking the shit out of most threads for maybe half a year, posted once in a while.
But now I've got my own camera so time to take part of the action!


Canon Ixus 100 IS, point-and-shoot is what I've got. Bought it exactly 7 days ago but I've got some pictures taken.


Ofc comments and criticism are greatly appreciated but what can I do if you just look?

zippo lighter looks great. well composed. good light. good texture. good colors. I really digg it. the others are rather lame.

I really like the guitar picture, the way the eye follows the cords, and the lighter picture is amazing!

looks surreal somehow (that's a compliment)

The guitar picture holds the most promise conceptually,
but you kindof copped out with the background. By making the background interesting and raising the contrast
you could make it more interesting.

The lighter picture looks really fantastic, such a great composition!
Love the play with light

The guitar made me kinda dizzy, but the perspective is well chosen.
