Well, I had this shot in mind. I wanted to get this pipe bridge thing on a really foggy night, and get some long exposures done. Two nights ago we drove past this place when there was so much fog you couldn't see ten feet in front of you. As we went under this thing it looked amazing. So I decided next time it was foggy, I would go back and shoot it. I kinda had to do a little bit of trespassing to get this shot. ^^ As you can see its on the side of a mountain. And the only place I was able to place my tripod without being in the middle of the road was on the other side of the fence, I'm sure everyone else would do the same... Anyway this is part of the Kennecott Copper Mine factory, thing. Place is eerie as can be, and creeped me the hell out. I was hoping it would have been quite a bit more foggy. But I'm fairly pleased with the result. Straight out of camera (other than converting to jpg). Anyway, enjoy.

Original plan was to have the shot without the car trails. But I kind of like them. They kind of work. What do you say?

Wasn't planning on even shooting this. Once I got to my location, I just decided what the hell. *Shutter*

There you have it.

The light and the fog makes it really special, such a spooky mood in the first 2 pictures.
You picked a really nice scenery with the perfect time for that shooting!

I like the 3. a lot also, the light effects look great in that weather.

Yeah, the third is the best for me as well.
Imo the other ones lack good lighting and interest.

Haha that's pretty cool - definitely creepy indeed! You took the effort to take this photo, trespassing (that's always fun xD) and waiting till it got foggy again. Good work, efforts show and keep doing that! Can I see #1 or #2 bigger? :O

Thank you all for the nice comments. I'm glad a lot of you seem to like the 3rd one. To me it seems really 'bleh'. I was far more interested in the pipe bridge thing than the factory. And like I said, I just took the shot because I was there. Figured I'd just see how it came out. Some other time I'm planning on going back to a different part of the place and doing more night/ long exposure shots. Hopefully minus the fog. Try and get a different perspective on the place I guess.

Anyway, in case you care... 1st/ 2nd shot at: f/8 30'' 100ISO, 3rd shot f/8 15'' 100ISO.

For you Chan...

For anyone who wanted to see 3rd bigger...
