sony w 290 -> compact , hd movie , easy to use, 5x zoom, 12 megapixel
s2000hd -> 15x zoom , 10 megapixel , hd movie


Wich one should i take?

i've got the fujifilm s1500 (because i can't afford an slr) which is a worse version of yours and the quality of the pics is quite good, you also full manual control (apart from manual focus)) so you can take decent night pics etc. i've only had it for a couple of weeks so i haven't tried the film yet. but it's quite big, so it really depends on whether you care about the size of the camera. if you're planning on just using the auto settings i'd go for the sony (if it's cheaper/same price)
