Hello!

Currently, I got two lenses: Sony 18-70 mm (F3.5-5.6) and Sigma DG Macro 70-300mm (F4-5.6) [Camera: Sony Alpha 200].

I'm really happy with these lenses, but I feel like I'm missing something. Therefore I'm thinking about buying a new lense.

So far I'm looking at these:
  • Samyang 8 mm f/3.5 Aspherical IF MC Fish-eye
  • Sony DT 50mm f/1.8

If you got any other lenses that you like, please show them so I make the right choice.

Also, please come with some pro's and con's on theses lenses & which one you'd choose.

btw. I don't have that much money, so I can't afford any Carl Zeiss' lenses ;)

Thanks in advance, and have a great weekend!

definitely cant go wrong with 50mm f/1.8
its saved me so many times in low light situations.

looks like most of your fstop ranges are ideal for outdoors shooting
having a f/1.8 would really help for indoor shooting.

also do you have an external flash? as soon as i picked up my first one it opened up a whole new dynamic to photography.

your next lens will depend heavily on what type of shooting you would like to focus on. (landscapes/portraits/macros/action shots/ etc.)

yes he was.

on topic:

I just ordered myself the canon EF 50mm 1.8 ! I`m pretty excited about it since its my first prime lens. I think fisheye´s are super interesting aswell. Might buy a wide angle lens aswell anytime soon. but as academic said, it depends on what you´re focusing on.

Just curious, but why would you buy a 70-300mm 4-5.6/f when you could get a 28-300mm 3.5-6.3/f for the same price?

I think the 28 - 300mm is less sharp and has a 6,3 at 300mm which is too much in my opinion.
