my first time with RAW and first time with my new macro lens.
i really need lots of practice so i can learn more about it. >.<
the lighting is such a huge problem indoors for me.
the focus is really hard and kind of backwards because you have to move your body to get it in frame and if you literally move a pinch in any direction it goes off focus, so you cant really move or shake. still as a giant rock. (x.x) my tripod didnt help either because it was hard to use the tripod and get the fly in the frame.
and speaking of how gross the process of getting the fly was.
maybe my next few photos will be better, thank you if you spent the time reading my complaining.

What lighting did you use?
Available? Flash? Tungsten? Daylight?

Adjust the colour temperature for tungsten then. Or try "Auto"
You could send me your raw file if you like and I could give it a crack. Makes it easier with a calibrated monitor too.

What exactly do you want to achieve in this shot by using raw?
