r06 means that there's room for 6 images in the buffer before the camera will pause until the content is written to the SD card. This can happen when shooting in continuous mode.

Not really sure what this means...

When you are shooting in continuous mode, your camera uses a memory buffer while it calculates the files. It's basically a temporary storage while the camera is processing the image to the card.

It means that it's room for 6 more pictures before the camera takes a break and send the pictures to the sd card. like when you watch a youtube video it sometimes pause and buffers a little then you can continue to watch the video :)

Next time this happens, sometimes your owners manual tells you what the different error codes mean. I learned when I got an error on my camera.
