Hey everyone! I hope you all enjoyed my pictures of my puppy, Scooby, with my step-mom's Nikon D3000.
But I have a question:

What is a good camera/lens to take fashion photography?
I mean I'm pretty young to take pictures of like, Tyra Banks and such, but!
I could take pictures of people and such.
Just something to do in my spare time, as I am very jealous of my step-mom!

What are your budget?

Professionals are shooting medium format cameras with digital backs that cost around the 20 to 30 thousand mark.

a fixed focal length lens with the largest zoom you can manage is probably your best bet. the golden number to look out for is 135mm as that is very popular for people photography
