Hey thar. I am interested in doing photography, I have been doing graphic design for 2 years. I need a camera, I dont want to pay 1000$ for one. I want something nice, but reasonable. Let me know please. I have read the guide, and just want insight on what camera you use, and if there are cheaper.

Hello. :)

I started with a Canon 450D with the kitlens, nice entry camera. The Canon 1000D is as cheap as it can be.

What kind of photography are you interested in doing?

With the 450D kitlens you do this stuff, but not the last one, since it requires a special lens.

As Quotex told you the 1000D is prolly the best entry DSLR you can get for that price. I´ve got it aswell. I think now that christmas is over, it´ll be like another 100$ cheaper..... I saw it for 450€ in a local store I think. The 450D is a little upgrade to it and prolly is the best or at least one of the best current starter DSLR´s, as its the most selled DSLR on the market right now I think. you should be aware of the fact that you might need alot of additional equipment if you´re going for serious photographing. A camera bag, a new lens, a flash, a new lens, a new flash, and alot of different smaller tools that you might need.

I cant wait till I have the money to upgrade again tho :P
want a 5D or something^^

1st pic you need a prime lens, i bet thats taken with 85mm 1.4, 85mm 1.2 or 135 2
2nd pic seems like the kind of situation that would get pretty grainy with 1000d because it seems pretty dark and 1000d gets pretty damn noisy with high iso
3rd you need a ultra wide angle lens
