pretty good!!

the only problem i have is holding it perfectly straight <_<

i always have it crooked and it ends up being a shot of nothing.
and the zoom i cant get it right.
maybe im not following it correctly.

I've tried that before, but I prefer my custom macro attachment. :D

Here's a very similar shot with it.

Pretty good, but I think you should have hold the lens more straight to get a larger area in focus. :)
What is the background? --> I like it! :D

If you want crazy macro you should insert an extension tube between the lens and the body.

I tried this, I have a 12 inch tube, but the quality was god awful and the focus area was so freaking small. I even used a pinhole aperture..

You need software like Helicon Focus to combine the shots. :)

I do have Helicon Focus. I use it with my macro attachment lens. I don't have a way to focus the lens though without moving the whole camera.

Also I don't feel like ruining my only 50mm lens, so I'll wait until I can get another and then make a really good one with a focusing element, maybe just some bellows and threaded PVC.
