At work everyone was split into groups and had to decorate a Christmas tree. I ended up taking photos of em! The one in particular, the M&M tree. If you don't know what M&M's are - they are a chocolate candy here in Canada. They're pretty good. The tree is decorated with cookie wreathes with M&M's put on them with icing. The office staff put paper clips to add their little touch to it.

Just a few photos. I had some fun doing the bokeh shot - that was pretty cool actually.

1.

2. The cookie wreath M&M’s

3. The “star” on the top of the tree !

4. Wreath M&M

5.

6. Pretty Bokeh thing I tried! Way too much dust going on.

hmm.. is it just me or has the world forgotten M&M's? I honestly didn't think there was a single person who didn't know what they were. Nice pic btw :)

Wow now thats a funny task to do at work, your boss seems to know very well
how to make the workers happy and get them in the Christmas mood!

Very sweet pictures i love them - and especially the M&M tree is my favorite!!!!

Now a little history class on its origin as many have asked this question already...
Of course one of the M in its name derives from Malte:
Sweet like chocolate when you put them in your mouth and no biting for longer fun :D

Now.... if you take some of its "fruits" from the tree and plant them in the garden
... you might eventually see a little M&M tree pop out of the ground next spring!!!
Treat it well with water and lots of sun and you can harvest the delicious crops in summer.

I used to have a kind of special m&m box for them some years back.
So you fill the entire portion inside at the top and can see them through the glass
and then press a button so that one of them will roll down to the bottom straight into your mouth

Haha - yeah, they did something different this year at work so it was cool! I imagine they're going to do the same next year everyone seemed to have fun with it. Anything to get away from work for a little while! :D

Whoa that's a nifty little M&M box you had there; they make so many different things with those candies - haha. Thanks for looking :)

Haha well I am not sure if they sell these in the States or other countries. I know I didn't see them in Europe when I went there  .
