In advance i apologize if these question[s] are discussed in the Photography for beginners threads.

If i were to get into Photography being a very inexperianced and quite oblivious to the art, what kind of camera should i start out to learn with and which objects would be the most efficient to start photoing?
Also if anyone has a link or guide on how dark rooms work or are done i'd be most grateful. Shoot me a pm as i might lose track of this thread, thanks.~

you intrested about developing your own film? i have developed some b&w films and i can tell you how to do that, its actually really simple. basicly all you need is a film developement tank(costs around 25-30$), fixer chemical(bottle for 10 mixes costs about 20-25$, but this can be stored for a while and used few times) and developer chemical(costs about as much as fixer, but cant be stored after mixing with water for usage, it can be used for couple times, but resaults might vary since it loses power after every development). making prints or developing color film i dont know much about.
are you looking for a film camera or digital?

Well for a long time I've always had a fascination with pictures both film and digital, but i am a beginner and have no experience in this area what so ever. I'd like to maybe start out digital then move to film? or vice versa if film isn't that hard to learn then I'd favor film. Either way though as long as its a start for beginning. Also if you can think of a camera that would be suitable for a beginner that'd be great too, I've looked on google for a few suggestions and have seen some like :

Canon PowerShot SX120 IS
FUJIFILM FINEPIX S8100fd
Fujifilm FinePix S1500

Those are just a few recommended if you have any input on them. Uhm another thing is that id mainly like to focus on nature/animals/ things around that area - but since im just looking to start out if you recommend a camera the price range im looking at is probably 250-500 max nothing too crazy ! thanks ~
