Hey guys, first time posting in this sub-forum. But i believe i do know some of you from "Computer Hardware and Discussions" Sub-Forum.

But anyways :P

I've always wanted a DSLR for quite a while.. been reading a little here and little there.. I finally snapped and pull the trigger. :P So with nothing to do yesterday morning, i've decided to go into best buy's and play with their DSLRs.. after what seems like 2 hours fiddling with couple of DSLRs.. I found that i like the feel of the EOS 450D better then the Nikon 3000/5000 that i was messing with. I went home yesterday.. placed the order with overnight delivery.

And here it is today ladies and gentlemen. :) My newest toy

The Canon EOS Rebel XSI 450D

I've also purchased another great budget lenses to play with. The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II. I've read the review of this lens on Dpreview. And then looked at the price.. Wasn't so steep, so it will be perfect lens for a amateur photographer like me.

Both of my lenses.
1x Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
1x Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

Next thing to learn is how to resize your photos for the web. Congrats on your purchase.

Get two! ;) So when it dies again, you got a second one ready to go.

Have fun with the beauty, and treat her well!

Lol, if you linger anywhere near computer hardwares and discussions.. you'll know i'll never settle for "good enough". I'm always in pursuit of the best of the best... even tho it is impossible to achieve.

Blackrose will probably tech you how much of a techie/ nerd i am >_>

Anyway. I got home and found a SD card :applaud:

It's already late and i don't feel like going out in the dark cold night for pics. I took some pics of a few household objects :P

Please feel free to critique. I am an absolute nub currently and i learn best when people criticize my work. So feel free to stomp all over me :rolleyess But i do welcome any tips that you may have though :p

These are photos i took with the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens
