Finally starting to take pictures again after far too long of being "too busy." Anyway I can't upload right now but here are some older macro shots. Looking for some critique/advice so I'll have some things to work on while I'm shooting! and don't hold back, you can't hurt me!

THIS IS THE WORST ATTEMPT OF MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY I`VE EVER SEEN. hope I didn´t hurt you .....................

:D

nah but seriously, I guess the point in macro shooting is to show off the a small detailed area on an object and get a huge depth of field. the first one is the best technique-wise, but nevertheless it also looks abit low in quality, just like the others. second and third are all blurry. what camera are you using? either its a quite bad one or you don´t use it right :)

No worries, you didn't hurt me!
I guess I shouldn't really call it macro photography then, I just meant the sizes or whatever. I was actually using a fingertip-focus lensbaby, so they aren't supposed to be sharp throughout or have a large dof... I was going for pretty much the opposite actually. So I guess what I'm looking for is just opinions on the pictures overall, not necessarily their merits as examples of good macro photography (if that makes sense?). I wasn't really trying to shoot any particular style (other than my own/what I wanted) with these photos.
