too bad the lighting isn't really good and it kinda looks out of focus or motion blurred.
I've found that cats are extremely hard to photograph and it takes a lot of practicing and fast lenses to get some decent shots of them.

Was your cat neutered? I know neutered cats are usually a lot less active and less likely to wander too far. Sigh! I wish cats really has nine lives :-\
