Uh... 1st one is a overexposed for my tastes and the highlights are blown out. Also, it doesn't really have an interesting composition to it.
2nd one - the quality of light isn't exactly great...if you retake the shot at a different time, I think that it would look better. Oh, and don't center the tree like that...move it closer to the left side if anything.

Ok thanks for the feedback. I just started taking photo's awhile ago, so I am still trying to figure out what 'defines' a good photo. :)

Sorry.

None of them really do it for me. I think the second one would have worked if it was composed better and the lighting wasn't so harsh.

I think trees are a really difficult subject to take pictures of....not sure why...
You see them in real, and they look amazing with their different shapes and all..
But then you try to put a frame around a part of nature, and it doesn't look good anymore..
I can't really help you here, as I am faced wth the same problem with tree pictures..

It seems unless the tree is all alone in a field, it doesn't blend well with other trees in a picture, or they look good when all together showing a forest or something like that...

The reason is because there so plain.. Nothing to spark them in the picture ..
Nice photos though :)

None of them are interesting to me, really.

One problem with the first picture may be that it's missing a "base", like the ground if you know what I mean. The picture seems to be just a random shot out of the blue and doesn't seem well set up at all.

The second picture, I dunno. Just boring.

The third, not well focused and sharp. Need more colors or something else like maybe a bird or something.
