If you don't know who Chase Jarvis is ... google. He's shoots for the big boys. I've met him at a photography meet-up via Flickr here in Seattle as he is a native to the area.

I just watched this video this morning and saw his new book.

It's pretty awesome. Check out the news interview ...

Ah, I've been following him for over a year now. He's amazing.
I've never met with him, but I talk to him a lot on Facebook, and have had him take a look at some of my strobe work before too.

His book is only iPhone photos though.
And it's a follow release for the iPhone app The Best Camera.

Yeah he's sponsored a couple of photography meetups here in Seattle via Flickr .... the first one David Hobby was at as well. And for those who don't know DH runs the Strobist website. Anyway, Chase is pretty awesome. I get his iphone uploads via facebook almost everyday and its kind of neat because it brings you back to reality and that's "don't chase great photos, just take good photos consistently". The iphone reminds me of what it would possibly be like to have a digital Holga. You just never know what you're going to get.

I like the way of how "The best camera is the one that's with you."
Any camera can take good photos, even a 3.1mp camera phone.
And he is standing proof.
