no focal point. Very little contrast, harsh sunlight and a large shadow in the foreground.
Composition lacks a spark that catches the eye.
Boring.

Work on setting up for a shot, getting the composition, and making sure it's in focus!!

I really just like photography for the picture, so I don't know what makes it pop.
With a basic camera, it's hard to really get a really awesome picture.

Not if you know what your doing. Camera that your using just has limits to certain situations, this situation isnt one of them.

Well it being blurry is obvious. Working on catching a moving subject can be hard. I don't know if your camera has a manual focus mode? It could be something you work on. If not see if your camera can select a specific spot to focus on. I don't know what its called but it might look like this. (selective focusing ? lol)
Code

             [ ]                                        [ ]

Have an Idea where you would like the subject to be and select that as the point the camera will focus on.

Other than that I think the dog is hilarious.

Well , a lot of different cameras, much more "professional" cameras, can take better movement pictures.
Personally, I don't know what I'm doing.
To the "naked" eye, to mine atleast, I really like it.
But just people that actually know what they're doing take much better ones.
xD
