First time I was in the mountain with the sun going down a little...
First pic with almost no editing, second one desaturized a lot..
Not sure which I prefer, so I posted both...
Which one do you prefer and why?

Have looked at them for quite some time now...
but thats really sooo tricky because both of them look special to me in their own way!

I think if i had to decide for one i'd go with the original one, but its rather intuitive.
The colors are so vivid and strong here, i like the contrast between green trees at the lighted top and grey stones at the darker bottom.

The second one makes me focus more on the light itself and the path. Especially these little lighted spots on the ground.
But both of them contain a very unique and mysterious atmosphere.

The interplay of light and shadows in combination with the green trees and the darker ground is amazing.
Love the sun rays making their way through the leafage and these little lighted spots on the ground.

And to round up this scenery, this path itself looks so beautiful in general!!!
Its very special to see this rocky little path surrounded by the wilderness sneaking its way up the hill.

Is it a fully natural one because of the rocky hill in general or was it made once and now nature is slowly taking back its territory?
Either way, a fantastic way to walk on! Could easily find its use in some fantasy movie i think.

Thank you for sharing, well done :)

hmmm I´d have liked it more if you would have achieved to make the rays visible. damn that´d look awesome. like that its abit too huge. the big light blop kinda destroys the feel of the picture.

. . . .

The desaturized one has a nice feeling to my eyes.
It's smoother, give more the idea of the incoming evening. I prefer it :)

I like the green one most. The desaturated one looks as if the sun is way too bright, if it was toned down a little then maybe that one would look better... :)

I prefer the first one personally because of the rich colors in it. :) Beautiful picture
