I was over at my parents house the other day, playing around with my old P&S camera I gave them ^_^. I like the macro setting, it's so fun. I've noticed that the pictures turn out much more blurrier unless you keep the camera very steady. Other than that, I kinda miss shooting with these cameras sometimes :) I got 3 good shots, I think. Haha.

Hold your breath while taking shots! It helps :)

The focus is a little weird for my taste, but great for a point & shooter.

Yeah - haha, I did that!

It's hard to choose where the focus goes with a P&S :P Thanks for the reply!

That's some crazy macro for a little P&S. I like the first shot, the other two don't do anything for me, but the composition of the first is nice.

Thanks Veil. I liked the first one the best too! Weird how P&S cameras can get so crazy with macro - haha.

you did pretty well for a point and shoot I guess. I like the color of the lilys. somehow, those kinds of macros lack anything extraordinary most of the times. therefore they tend to bore me in most cases.

keep up tho.

Yeah - true :). I wouldn't really call it a macro shot, I just used the macro setting to get a better detail is all :) I see how you mean though, they do get boring ! I thought I'd share something a little different for a change :D

Thanks for the reply!

Wow lovely result, the first one is clearly my favorite also!
Shows how much is possible with any camera indeed :)

This makes me hope with my bad camera and especially my shaky hands
Going to try that breath holding next time!

Thanks ! :)

It takes practice to be steady - if you have troubles maybe you could even set it up on something! :D
